County Historical Information:
Needing a short history of your county? These Water Resource Survey books do an excellent job of giving a history of the county and not just the water history. Many of them give a brief paragraph about town sites, populations, ag products, etc. as well as great watershed and historical climate information.
- Start at this DNRC link on the left hand side of the page click on "Water Rights" then scroll to the bottom of the new page and click on "Water Resources Survey Books". A list of counties will appear and you can click on your county. Thanks goes to DNRC for making this resource so readily available.
