Step 4. Estimating manure composition
This
worksheet estimates the amount of nutrients in manure
and calculates the nutrient needs of crop(s).
Example Information:
1. Manure composition lb/ton raw waste
(manure analysis not available
so book value estimates are used - see
table). NOTE: It is most accurate to have manure
composition determined by lab analysis.
